The NCVPRIPG-2019 Doctoral Symposium is meant for Ph.D. students at an advanced stage working in all areas relevant to NCVPRIPG to provide an opportunity to showcase their thesis work and interact with experts in the field about their thesis work.
The Doctoral Symposium will be a poster session during the main conference. Note that the presented work at the doctoral symposium has to be original (could be ‘work- in-progress’). Apart from the program committee review, these poster presentations would present the doctoral students with an opportunity for detailed discussions with the conference attendees and helpful feedback on their thesis work.
Any Ph.D. student who wishes to participate in the symposium should submit an extended abstract (maximum 2 pages as per the NCVPRIPPG-2019 paper format) to the Doctoral Symposium Program Committee by email (email@example.com) before the deadline. The abstract must include student and advisor(s) names, affiliations and communication address. The extended abstract should clearly describe the main motivation and results with adequate details to allow the program committee to comprehend the potential contribution(s) of the work. All collated accepted abstracts will be available on the NCVPRIPG website. This doctoral symposium is meant for current Ph.D. students, i.e. they should be bonafide Ph.D. students during the symposium.
Doctoral Symposium Submission Deadline: October 20, 2019
Notification of Acceptance: November 15, 2019
Ph.D. scholars with abstracts accepted in the Doctoral Symposium must complete the student registration before the early bird registration deadline. They must also, prepare a poster of A0 size (841mm x 1189mm) in portrait mode and present it in the poster session at the conference.
