Instructions for Presenters @ NCVPRIPG 2019

Oral Presentation

  1. Oral presentations will be for 7 minutes with 1 additional minute for Q.A.
  2. You will see a warning sign at the 6 minutes mark, and a long bell at the 7 minutes mark. Please strictly adhere to the time limits.
  3. Please contact the session chair at least 15 minutes before the start of your session and let the chair know that you are presenting the work.
  4. Please ensure that you copy your presentation on to the computer on stage before 1 hr the session starts and test the presentation for fonts/videos/audio/transitions. If you are using your own laptop, please connect and test it before the session starts. HDMI connector is available at the venue for the projector.
  5. All Oral presenters have to put up their posters to have detailed interactions at poster sessions and details for preparing the poster are:
    a. The poster size is A0 size (841mm x 1189mm) in portrait mode.
    b. Hard Copy of posters to be brought by the presenter.
    c. The detailed schedule is made available on the conference website.
    d. Poster presenters should stand by their poster during their session to talk with attendees.

Spotlight Presentation

  1. All Poster presenters will get a 3 minute time-slot for presenting the highlights of their work in spotlight session.
  2. This will require you to send a presentation (3 slides including title, contributions and key results), by Dec. 18th evening, 5pm to  ncvpripg2019@kletech.ac with the email subject as Spotlight slide for Paper <ID>.
  3. You will not be allowed to present from your own laptop.
  4. Please strictly adhere to the 3 minute time-limit as the spotlight session is just long-enough for this duration.
  5. The idea of a spotlight presentation is NOT to tell the audience about the details of the work, but to present the problem, a key idea or result, that would attract the attendees to your poster.
  6. Please rehearse the presentation with a timer and the exact sentences to speak. Otherwise you will not be able to finish in 3 minutes.
  7. Details for preparing posters are:

  8. Doctoral Symposium

    1. All authors of doctoral symposium have to participate in poster session with poster size of A0 size (841mm x 1189mm) in portrait mode.
    2. Each presenter should stand by their poster during their session to talk with attendees.
    3. The detailed schedule is made available on the conference website.
